The camera lens is completely disabled by the snow. There may be moisture in the lens or in the camera but attempts at clearing the snow haven't solved the problem. I won't be able to get out there to fix it or replace the lens until later this week, if, in fact, we get our driveway plowed in the next day or two. As you can see, the camera electronics and internet connection are still good as we can see the time stamp on the video feed.
For a short time both eagles are at the nest. The female is Petra and the male is Rocky. Petra spends more time there than Rocky.
I haven't figured out how to get the comments section on the home page. You are welcome to post here about the website and the video observations. Eventually, I will be able to get the comment section on the page with the video--the Home page.
Jim Hammond: maintains the camera observing a golden eagle nest on Whychus Creek canyon in Sisters Oregon. I can post links to youtube videos which I and Marcia can download from our Angelcam website. Commenters can post images and links to youtube videos in their comments.
