Rocky comes for a visit. Both eagles come and go. Thanks to Marcia for capturing this video.
I'm not going to do much more about the "Blog and Comments" page of this website. I will post images and videos as blog entries now and then and comments can be made about those particular entries or about other things but they should be made as comments on the latest blog entry if they don't pertain to a past blog entry. I may never take us back to where the comments can be entered on the Home page where the video is posted as I can't figure out how to do that. You can have both windows open at once if you want to. Videos will be posted on youtube and be viewable on the blog page without opening youtube. When you click on the blue "Comments" link above or below the blog entry you will see the comments and be able to enter your own comments. Bookmark the "Blog and Comments" page and you will get to the latest blog post and be able to select which blog post you want to see from the Archives if you want to see an earlier one.
The camera lens is completely disabled by the snow. There may be moisture in the lens or in the camera but attempts at clearing the snow haven't solved the problem. I won't be able to get out there to fix it or replace the lens until later this week, if, in fact, we get our driveway plowed in the next day or two. As you can see, the camera electronics and internet connection are still good as we can see the time stamp on the video feed.
For a short time both eagles are at the nest. The female is Petra and the male is Rocky. Petra spends more time there than Rocky.
I haven't figured out how to get the comments section on the home page. You are welcome to post here about the website and the video observations. Eventually, I will be able to get the comment section on the page with the video--the Home page.
